For a government organization, we are looking for an administrator who wants to take responsibility for the network environment. A colleague is retiring; you will be the successor who takes over the management and contributes ideas for the next step.

What you will do. You will work with system and platform administrators on a secure, reliable infrastructure.

  • Cisco: manage networks, implement changes, and introduce improvements.
  • Palo Alto: maintain firewalls and network security.
  • Connections: set up and manage routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Incidents: identify causes and resolve them structurally.
  • Innovation: research new techniques and propose solutions that further enhance the environment.

You will keep configurations and changes well-documented, allowing colleagues to build upon your work.

  • Practical knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto.
  • Experience with routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Mbo+/hbo working and thinking level.
  • Good command of Dutch.
