Field Service Technician

As a field service technician, you are crucial for the continuity of customer operations. You enjoy a lot of freedom and are valued for your craftsmanship. Your day starts with checking your equipment, after which you drive to your first customer to resolve malfunctions. Appointment scheduling is arranged for you, so you can focus on technical work.

What you do

  • Resolve malfunctions on internal transport equipment at various customers, such as distribution centers.
  • Perform maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Advise customers on how to get the most out of their equipment.
  • Analyze and solve complex technical issues.
  • Work with advanced technology, including lithium-ion batteries, CAN-bus diagnostics, hydraulics, electronics, combustion technology, energy systems, and automation.
  • Collaborate with a team of colleagues and technical support for more complex issues.

What they ask

  • A completed MBO level 3 or 4 education in a technical field, such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering. Experience as a mechanic with a feel for technology is also welcome without a diploma.
  • Relevant experience with electrical engineering, hydraulics, and/or combustion technology.
  • Independence and proficiency in working with diagnostic equipment and a laptop.
  • Clear communication with customers and a proactive, thoughtful attitude.
  • Driving license B.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced colleagues and the internal academy, or the ambition to take on more responsibilities and be a go-to person within the team.
