As a Buyer, you are a crucial link within the purchasing department of a leading distributor in the convenience market. You ensure that all administrative and support processes related to purchasing and inventory management run correctly, structured, and efficiently. You support the Category Managers and contribute to a smooth flow of data, promotions, and product information within the organization.
The organization specializes in the distribution of confectionery, beverages, and tobacco products, with a wide assortment and daily deliveries to various points of sale. You work in a growing and dynamic organization where open communication, flexibility, and entrepreneurship are central.
What you will do.
- Perform administrative tasks and follow-up to support the purchasing department
- Meticulously follow up on promotions, flyers, and associated reports
- Manage and keep the central article database up-to-date
- Centralize and process product and promotion data in the ERP system
- Actively contribute to the correct and timely availability of data and information
- Act as a back-up for colleagues in purchasing support and replenishment
- Contribute to the structure and optimization of administrative processes
Profile
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- You have at least 3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role
- Experience within FMCG is a strong plus
- You are proficient in Excel and have experience with ERP systems
- You are strong in planning, organization
- You have a commercial mindset and think solution-oriented
- You are a team player who also takes responsibility independently
- Languages:
- Dutch: very good
- French & English: fluent
