Teamlead Business IT

What you do

  • Daily leadership of the Business IT team and responsibility for the successful implementation, development, and management of business applications, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) as core.
  • Translate business strategy and the needs of process owners and key-users into an executable project and change calendar.
  • Ensure proper prioritization, quality, and progress in collaboration with the ICT Manager.

Leading the Business IT team.

  • You daily manage your team, coach team members, and develop their functional management and ERP application specialism.
  • Monitor workload distribution, quality, and progress of management and change activities.
  • Conduct progress and development interviews, identifying capacity and knowledge needs.

Project and portfolio management.

  • Lead implementation and optimization projects around D365 F&O (new modules, new entities, integrations), from initiation through aftercare.
  • Together with process owners, establish as-is/to-be analyses and translate business needs into clear requirements and a realistic plan.
  • Drive scope, budget, resources, and timely delivery.
  • Report on progress and risks to the ICT Manager and steering groups.
  • Manage external implementation partners and consultants.

Coordinating the change process and sprints.

  • Together with the ICT Manager, determine sprint content and prioritization of changes.
  • Monitor the entire change process from intake to assessment, realization, testing, and release.
  • Ensure good documentation, knowledge sharing, and transferability within the team.

Collaboration on BI/Data and integrations.

  • Support BI/Data projects that interface with Business IT, such as data streams, integrations, and master data.
  • Monitor the coherence between D365 F&O, links with surrounding applications, and the data foundation.

Bridging business and IT.

  • First point of contact for process owners and key-users regarding business applications.
  • Translate complex IT topics into understandable language for the business and vice versa.

What they ask

  • HBO work and thinking level, preferably in business administration, information management, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with ERP implementations and optimizations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (AX / D365 F&O).
  • Proven experience with project management in an international or multi-entity environment, including managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business processes in production, logistics, or supply-chain environments (purchasing, inventory, sales, finance).
  • Experience with agile/sprint-based work and change management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC): environment management, DLP policies, capacity, and governance around Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse in conjunction with D365 F&O.
  • Global knowledge of Microsoft Fabric: understands architecture and data flows in broad terms and can liaise with the BI/Data department.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Preferences.

  • Experience managing a (small) team of functional administrators or application specialists.
  • Knowledge of integration issues (interfaces, middleware, master data management) and interfaces with BI/data platforms.
  • Affinity with innovation in operations (IoT, AI, robotization) and with the food or maritime sector.
