As a (nearly) qualified basic doctor, occupational medicine offers a challenging and socially relevant work environment outside the hospital. What you will do.
- Guide employees who have fallen ill or have health complaints
- Advise on a responsible return to work
- Conduct consultations
- Perform medical assessments and examinations
- Advise both employees and employers on health and employability
- Collaborate with various disciplines within occupational health services
- Develop a broad perspective on the relationship between work and health
Development program. A secondment agency offers an extensive development program for a strong start in occupational medicine. You will have the opportunity to participate free of charge in training courses such as:
- Vitality in the consultation room
- Persistent Physical Complaints (ALK)
- Motivational Interviewing
Additionally, you can delve deeper into topics such as neuropsychiatry and recognizing psychiatric disorders. Participation in training is not mandatory.
Profile
- You have a (nearly) completed Master's degree in Medicine
- You have a valid BIG registration or will be eligible for it in the short term
- You have an interest in or affinity with occupational medicine and occupational health services
- You are a strong communicator and can work well independently
- You are curious, eager to learn, and want to continue developing as a doctor
Practical
- An employment contract through secondment with a secondment agency
- Salary according to the applicable collective labor agreement and classification appropriate to your experience
