Marketing Manager

LimburgHybridHours negotiable<3months

Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing company in a specific sector and is part of an ambitious international group.

  • With an extensive network of branches and mobile teams, the organization is active in two countries and guarantees high-quality, customer-oriented service.
  • Thanks to years of experience and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, one central goal is to help customers quickly, safely, and satisfactorily.
  • Collaboration within the international group offers room for continuous growth and further improvement of services.
  • This development creates ample opportunities for personal and professional growth in an inclusive environment where employees can excel.
  • To strengthen ambitious growth and further expand market share in the relevant countries, we are looking for a driven Marketing & Communication Manager with a sharp commercial insight, strong digital expertise, and the drive to make a hands-on impact.
  • Do you have a solid background in B2C marketing, preferably within retail, FMCG, or another fast-moving environment, and do you combine performance marketing with strong brand and campaign execution? Then you will have the opportunity to give direction to a brand with pronounced growth ambitions.

What you do

  • You take the lead in the further development and commercialization of the organization's brand.
  • You translate the business strategy into a powerful B2C marketing approach that strengthens brand awareness, customer activation, and market share, without losing sight of existing B2B strengths.
  • You provide direction, set clear priorities, and ensure that digital, performance, PR & brand, activation, and visibility reinforce each other.
  • Digital and performance marketing are a spearhead in your role. You manage campaigns from strategy to execution, oversee the entire performance funnel, and continuously optimize based on data, conversion, and ROI. Paid media, targeting, lead generation, and conversion optimization hold few secrets for you, and you know how to demonstrably translate marketing investments into commercial growth.
  • You purposefully build the organization's positioning, brand identity, and value proposition. You translate this positioning into strong PR and brand initiatives, campaigns, activations, and visibility at relevant touchpoints. You monitor brand consistency and dare to be creative and distinctive to position the brand as a strong alternative in the market.
  • You develop and manage integrated omnichannel campaigns that connect online and offline channels and support the entire customer journey, from awareness and activation to conversion and loyalty. You take ownership of campaign management and work closely with sales to align commercial objectives, lead generation, and customer activation.
  • You explicitly connect marketing with sales, operations, and service. You ensure that the brand promise is also visible and tangible in the field and translate marketing initiatives into concrete commercial activation in the branches.
  • This role is both strategic and distinctly hands-on. You help determine the direction, proactively take ownership of the execution, and act decisively when speed or adjustment is needed. You manage the marketing budget, make informed investment choices, and sharply focus on impact, return, and priorities.
  • You develop a scalable marketing model for the own branches and franchisees, with one strong brand identity and at the same time sufficient room for local activation, visibility, and merchandising. You support partners with concrete marketing tools and ensure consistent brand execution.
  • In addition to the pronounced B2C focus, you build on the organization's B2B strengths. You set up targeted B2B campaigns and events, support commercial partnerships, and ensure that the value proposition is clearly and convincingly positioned in the market.
  • Within the international group, you collaborate with shared services and translate group initiatives into the local context.
  • In this role, you provide direction to the marketing agenda and report directly to the CEO.

Profile

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing and/or communication and have at least five years of relevant experience in a broad marketing role.
  • Experience in a B2C, retail, FMCG, or other fast-moving environment is a clear asset.
  • You combine strategic insight with a distinctly positive hands-on mentality. You are proactive, entrepreneurial, decisive, and directive: you don't wait, but turn ideas into action and maintain pace in a competitive market where market share must be earned.
  • You have strong, demonstrable expertise in digital and performance marketing. You can set up, manage, and optimize digital campaigns, are familiar with data analysis and performance reporting, and know how to shift budgets to the channels and actions that yield the most results.
  • You have a strong sense of brand, communication, and commercialization. You know how to sharply formulate a value proposition and translate it into relevant campaigns, PR, activations, merchandising, and visibility, both online and in the field.
  • You are comfortable with both B2C and B2B marketing and understand the nuances of both worlds.
  • You have experience with campaign management and know how to use events, activations, and commercial marketing initiatives to stimulate brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Budget management is a natural part of marketing management for you. You meticulously monitor investments, set priorities, and focus on return, without losing sight of creativity or speed.
  • You move smoothly between management, sales, operations, service, dealer network, and external partners. You communicate clearly, involve stakeholders in your vision, and combine persuasiveness with drive, energy, and genuine passion for marketing and growth.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English; knowledge of German is an added value within the local context.

Practical

  • The organization offers a broad and visible marketing role where strategy, performance, brand, and commercial activation come together.
  • You get the space to set direction yourself, switch quickly, and realize initiatives from idea to result.
  • You get the opportunity to contribute to the further positioning and growth of the organization and directly impact market share, brand awareness, and commercial results in the relevant countries.
  • You work in an entrepreneurial, international context where initiative, ownership, drive, and passion are highly valued.
  • You can count on an attractive salary package with extra-legal benefits and a company car.
  • An employment contract is preferred, but an independent status is negotiable.
