You will work as a building inspector, project leader, supervisor, or foreman in construction with knowledge of municipal building supervision. The organization faces various construction challenges, including renovations, new uses in a monumental environment, large new construction projects, urban renewal, and housing improvement.
What you will do.
- Conduct building inspections to verify project compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Supervise adherence to building permits and associated conditions.
- Enforce regulations when necessary and support measures in case of violations.
- Document findings in reports for management and involved parties.
- Actively handle complaints from the district and advise on building regulations and procedures.
- Inspect residential buildings for fire safety and occupancy notifications.
- Perform checks on event constructions, including structural integrity and fire safety.
- Oversee and guide a safe environment around construction sites.
- Mentor new colleagues with your experience.
Profile
- Experience as an inspector, project leader, supervisor, or foreman in construction is required.
- Knowledge of building systems and techniques.
- MBO diploma with HBO working and thinking level.
- Willingness to follow training, such as ABW1.
- Environmentally aware, independent, and able to assess sensitive situations.
- Autonomous and a team player.
- Professional, communicatively skilled, persistent, and decisive under pressure.
- Digitally proficient with ICT applications and tablets.
