An assignment for a period of 12 months with a package of spatial issues. The projects are in various phases, from initiative and feasibility to design phase.
- The area development project focuses on redeveloping an area between two avenues, including former offices, a municipal depot, and a gas station site. A defined area vision exists; the area, with various sub-locations, will be redeveloped in phases and in good coherence. Reaching agreements on land exchange/transfer with a former owner is an important first step.
- Another project focuses on the redevelopment of a vacant office building and an adjacent P+R parking area, located on the side of an NS station. The aim for the coming year is to achieve a spatial framework for development approved by the council and, in parallel, a viable business case.
- The project concerning the underground cabling of high-voltage lines, over a length of approximately 4.6 kilometers. This is, among other things, a strict prerequisite for one of the area developments. A Basic Design is being worked on, after which the 'Detailed Design and Realization' phase will start.

- Minimum 5 years of work experience as an area development project manager for more complex area developments with an assignment value of at least 10 million.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 10 years as an area development project manager at a municipality.
- Demonstrable work experience leading multidisciplinary project teams within the spatial domain.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in projects involving multiple clients.
- Demonstrable work experience with all different phases of area development: from initiation to realization.
- Demonstrable work experience with collaboration processes where the interests of various stakeholders are taken into account.
- Demonstrably completed education in civil engineering, social geography and urban planning, master city developer or similar at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
