An organization is immediately looking for a Safety Consultant (Youth/WMO). If you have the right qualifications and are looking for a new challenge, this is a challenging position. The client is a municipal organization.
What you will do. As a Safety Consultant, you are the lead in the most complex situations within Youth and WMO. You switch quickly, think integrally, and move effortlessly between policy frameworks and the interests of the family or citizen.
- Directing casework with (potential) safety risks, across domains.
- Analysis and decision-making: you draw up explanatory analyses and integrated safety plans.
- Connection: you connect residents, care providers, neighborhood teams, police, Veilig Thuis, and other partners in a cohesive approach.
- Sparring partner: you advise colleagues on coercion/compulsion, reports, legal frameworks, and escalation routes.
- Crisis situations: you organize direct consultations, liaise with public order and safety, and take action where necessary.
- Monitoring: you follow progress, monitor agreements, and ensure everyone fulfills their role.
In short: you are the linchpin in the network when things get tense and remain connected.
Profile
For the team within the social domain, a strong, connecting consultant is sought to work on both Youth and WMO files where safety is central. You will work in a small, driven team, but will be part of the larger Youth and WMO team, which shows courage, learns together, keeps each other sharp, and has room for a good dose of humor.

What they ask

- The candidate must have a valid SKJ or BIG registration. The registration number and validity period must be explicitly stated in the CV.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 6 years within both the Youth and WMO domain at a municipal organization. This must be clearly explained with at least one concrete example and/or reference project.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor level, in the direction of Social Work, Pedagogy, SPH, and/or MWD.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the social map and are well-informed about the ins and outs of the care offer and the applicable agreements in the chain (WMO and Youth). This must be clearly explained with at least one concrete example and/or reference project.
- The tenderer is willing to agree to a 'deta-vast' construction, whereby the candidate, after 12 months, if the client wishes, enters into employment with the client free of charge.
- Demonstrable work experience with or training in explanatory analysis. This must be clearly explained with at least one concrete example and/or reference project.
- Demonstrable work experience with complex family systems and the associated problems. This must be clearly explained with at least one concrete example and/or reference project.
- Demonstrable knowledge of primary provisions within the social domain. This must be clearly explained with at least one concrete example and/or reference project.
