Procurement Consultant Logistics & Transport

What you will do.

• As a procurement consultant, you will support clients across a wide variety of procurement, sourcing and supply chain challenges, with a particular focus on transportation and logistics spend categories.
• You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them optimize supplier portfolios, improve commercial outcomes and develop procurement strategies that create long-term value.
• As the organization continues to expand, there will also be opportunities to contribute to internal development initiatives, process improvements and future team growth.
• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement projects for clients.
• Develop category and supplier strategies across logistics and transportation services.
• Support tender management and supplier selection processes.
• Analyze spend, identify commercial opportunities and deliver savings initiatives.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement best practices and market developments.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the consulting practice.

What they ask

• 5+ years of experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Experience managing transportation, logistics or operational spend categories is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially driven and comfortable working in client-facing environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
