North HollandHybrid36 hours/week<3months

Realize complex real estate projects in an environment where healthcare continues uninterrupted. As a project manager, you will lead architectural, installation engineering, and housing projects. You will bring structure to complex issues, connect internal and external parties, and ensure that projects are prepared, executed, and completed in a controlled manner.

What you will do. As a project manager, you are fully responsible for your projects, from project definition through realization and handover. In addition to execution, you also take on a strong advisory role in preparation. You make clear agreements with the internal client regarding objectives, feasibility, planning, budget, risks, quality, decision-making, and communication. Examples of multidisciplinary projects within real estate management include:

  • department renovations
  • replacement of installations
  • realization of energy storage systems
  • construction of new complex operating theaters

Additionally, in this role, you will be involved in:

  • planning and coordination of complex multidisciplinary projects, project activities, and work in the field of housing, building design, renovations, and real estate
  • monitoring the quality from start to finish of the project in combination with a high degree of risk management
  • monitoring the project budget
  • alignment, communication, and coordination between (internal) stakeholders and executing (external) parties
  • evaluation of the project, both in terms of content and process, and reporting on this to the (internal) client

You are energized by bringing together important stakeholders for the execution of various real estate trajectories within a healthcare organization. Risk management is an important factor in the healthcare work environment, given that the organization's primary process is focused on caring for vulnerable patients, where care must continue at all times. You will work on a safe, future-proof environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

What they ask You like to think outside the box if it contributes to the result. You are creative in devising how things can be even better and you do this in your own way and collaboratively. Additionally, you bring:

  • technical and architectural knowledge of the working environment and/or real estate in healthcare
  • a high degree of independence due to previous experience with projects within healthcare real estate and/or other complex environments where operations continue during projects
  • customer focus, empathy, and tact in advising and coordinating projects
  • knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, procedures, working methods, and guidelines within real estate
  • ability to work with administrative (CAD) software, digital (analysis) techniques, and/or create reports for presenting project results
