For a regional hospital that combines excellent patient care with specialized expertise, including top-clinical burn care, we are looking for a Recovery Nurse. It is a close-knit organization with short lines of communication, where the shared focus on the best patient care forms the basis of daily work. You will join a warm and enthusiastic team of 20 recovery nurses, where collegiality and collaboration are central.
Within the operating theatre department, you will be part of a team of approximately 100 colleagues who together contribute to complex and life-saving operations in seven operating rooms.
Profile
Dynamic, responsible, and impactful – you are in your element when things get challenging. You act quickly and effectively in acute situations, always with an eye for priorities and the well-being of the patient. Clinical reasoning is in your blood, and you know how important it is to anticipate and communicate effectively with colleagues and anesthesiologists.
What you will do.
- As a central figure in pre- and postoperative care, you monitor and guide surgical patients in both phases.
- You assist the anesthesiologist with regional techniques and the placement of central lines.
- You ensure a correct handover to the nursing ward.
- You ensure clear communication with the anesthesia team.

- You are a qualified nurse with at least one year of work experience.
- You have completed a Medium Care Recovery training.
- You have a valid BIG registration.
- You remain calm and make the right choices, even in stressful and acute situations.
- You are flexible and willing to work all types of shifts.
- You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
