As a working foreman, you actively participate and maintain an overview on the shop floor. You guide colleagues, assist where necessary, and ensure that work is carried out safely, neatly, and on time. You are the point of contact on the floor and make a difference every day in operations. You work in a dynamic environment with processes such as order picking, daily trading, and dispatch. Safety, order, and cleanliness are always paramount.

- Guide and support colleagues and temporary workers during shifts.
- Distribute tasks and adjust where necessary.
- Actively participate in logistical processes (hands-on).
- Monitor progress, quality, and productivity.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in planning and execution.
- Check orders, registrations, and scans in the system.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety on the shop floor and set an example.
- Contribute ideas for smarter work processes and signal delays or errors in operations.

What they ask
- MBO level 3 or 4, preferably in logistics, technology, or supply chain.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of work experience in a logistics or operational environment.
- Knowledge of logistical processes (inbound, distribution, dispatch) and safety regulations (Arbo/logistics).
- Ability to work with scanners and WMS systems.
- Clear communication in Dutch (written also) and English.
- Engagement, results-orientation, and personal leadership.
- Personal transport is useful due to varying shifts.
Preferences.
- Experience in fresh produce trade.
- Experience in guiding or supervising colleagues.
