The practice is a "cat-friendly clinic" and offers services such as cardiology, ophthalmology, dental care, laparoscopy, gastroscopy, enteroscopy, dermatology, radiography, ultrasonography, various laboratory tests, and surgery. The practice has multiple spacious consultation rooms, a large surgery room with hospitalization, and separate accommodations for dogs and cats.
The team consists of four veterinarians and two veterinary assistants.
What you do
- Perform the initial screening of the patient.
- Be well-supported by present veterinarians to propose and execute appropriate treatments.
- Take the lead in various operations together with an experienced surgeon (if experience and drive in surgery are present).
- After an induction period, independently manage patients during on-call duties, both locally and regionally (1 in 7).
- Rely on a colleague's backup for emergency surgery and diagnosis during on-call duties.
- Work closely with assistants during consultations and follow-up of hospitalized patients.
- Consult colleagues for a second opinion.
- If necessary, refer patients within the practice to the appropriate colleague.
