What you will do.
- Handle objections and appeals in permit procedures, planning damages, and levy objections.
- Represent the college of mayor and aldermen in objection and appeal cases.
- Support and guide colleagues on legal issues related to permit granting.
- Contribute ideas and propose solutions.
- Deal with complex regulations, sometimes strong opposing interests between parties, and the administrative context in an environmentally conscious manner.

What they ask
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a lawyer for objections and appeals concerning environmental permits.
- Minimum a demonstrable completed HBO bachelor's degree in Law.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a college representative before the objection committee, court, and Council of State.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in providing legal advice on (complex) environmental permits.
- Demonstrable work experience with the Rx.Mission case management system.
- Available for evening sessions: one or two Wednesday evenings per month.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a lawyer for objections and appeals concerning environmental permits at a municipality and/or environmental agency.
