This role is within a healthcare organization that provides tailored mental health care. You will work with clients, family, loved ones, and network partners to deliver meaningful care, focusing on inclusive care, resilience, and self-management.
Where you will work. You will work within a residential unit for adults with long-term psychiatric vulnerability, and within a mobile team.
- The residential unit is a place where adults with long-term psychiatric vulnerability reside. You will work with an engaged interdisciplinary team focused on recovery, quality of life, and inclusion.
- The mobile team is primarily composed of nurses who are flexibly deployed within the hospital departments of the healthcare organization. The team provides temporary support or reinforcement for specific assignments, increased care needs, or staff shortages.
Your assignment will be divided between the residential unit (75%) and the mobile team (25%).
What you will do. You will have a varied leadership role connecting people, care, and organization. For the residential unit:
- Lead the residential unit in close collaboration with psychiatrists, coordinators, and the care manager.
- Efficiently organize care, staff planning, and schedules, with attention to continuity, quality, and feasibility.
- Coach and support an interdisciplinary team and create a positive working environment.
- Monitor employees' performance and stimulate their professional development.
- Safeguard the quality and continuity of care and initiate improvements and care innovations.
- Guide change processes and help sustainably embed new initiatives.
- Maintain contacts with clients, family, referrers, and external partners.
For the mobile team:
- Guide and support the members of the mobile team.
- Efficiently organize staff planning, schedules, and deployment of the team.
- Monitor agreements and collaboration with the various departments.
- Follow up on operations and take initiative to further improve and develop the mobile team.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a bachelor's degree in human sciences.
- At least 3 years of experience in mental healthcare and/or elderly care.
- Completed a management training course or willing to obtain one.
- Enthusiastic approach to working with people with complex psychiatric issues, with an eye for the lived experience of patients and their families.
- Inspiring leader who can energize others, provide space, and encourage them to take responsibility.
- Strong organizational skills, keen to take on care, organizational, and innovation processes.
- Strong planning skills and ability to maintain an overview in a complex work environment.
- Flexible and resilient, sees change as an opportunity.
- Works independently, actively seeks consultation and collaboration, communicates clearly.
