Project Manager Sustainable Building Innovations

What you do

  • Initiate, guide, and realize innovation projects in practice.
  • Collaborate with researchers, companies, governments, knowledge institutions, and startups on innovative solutions that contribute to sustainability in construction.
  • Guide multiple innovation projects from preparation to completion.
  • Initiate and develop subsidy projects, participate in consortia, and actively contribute to subsidy applications.
  • Responsible for the execution of projects.
  • Maintain contacts with partners and actively build a network.
  • Identify new innovation opportunities and help advance them into concrete projects.
  • Support the team in organizing meetings, demonstrations, workshops, and other activities related to innovations in sustainable building and renovation.
  • Ensure good coordination between initiators, researchers, partners, and colleagues within the innovation center.
  • Work within the Sustainable Building and Innovation team of the innovation center.
  • Lead multiple innovation projects and fulfill a supportive and executive role within subsidy projects.
  • Actively build a network of companies, knowledge institutions, and governments.
  • Contribute to identifying and developing new innovation projects.

What they ask

  • Academic working and thinking level, with a technical background (e.g., in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in innovation or project management.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language.
  • Demonstrable experience with project management and structured work.
  • Demonstrable experience with sustainability and innovation in construction.
  • Enthusiasm for the technical side of construction such as sustainable installation technology, building physics, load-bearing structures, and digitalization.
