The team of a basic registration is looking for a Test Engineer.
- This basic registration forms one of the essential basic registrations of the Netherlands. Daily, governments, security regions, utility companies, water boards, and many other organizations rely on current and reliable geographical information.
- The organization manages the national provision of this basic registration and is simultaneously working on an extensive modernization of the chain, including the replacement of a current platform.
- For this challenging transition, an experienced Test Engineer is sought who, in consultation with a fellow test engineer, plays a key role in ensuring the quality, continuity, and reliability of the services.
- You will support, among other things, the replacement of the current platform.
What you will do.
- Drawing up and executing the test strategy for the replacement of the platform.
- Coordinating functional tests, chain tests, regression tests, and acceptance tests.
- Validating complex geo-data, mutation processing, and data flows within the chain.
- Assessing risks and quality requirements within the program.
- Advising Product Owners, Architects, and DevOps teams on quality issues.
- Setting up and further professionalizing test automation.
- Monitoring the quality of releases towards production.
- Supporting user acceptance and migration processes.
- Identifying risks regarding continuity, performance, security, and manageability.
Profile
- Experienced Test Engineer who, in consultation with a fellow test engineer, plays a key role in ensuring the quality, continuity, and reliability of the services.
- Able to collaborate with a fellow test engineer and stakeholders (Product Owners, Architects, DevOps).
What they ask
- HBO or WO (higher professional education or university) work and thinking level
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior tester or test coordinator
- Minimum 5 years of experience with TMap, ISTQB, or comparable test methodologies
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps
- Minimum 2 years of experience with chain testing of complex IT landscapes
- Minimum 2 years of experience with test automation
- Minimum 2 years of experience with API testing
Preferences.
- A description of the approach for the assignment to be carried out given the specific issue of the organization, with an emphasis on experience with complex information flows
- Experience with a recent version of.NET is a plus
