A regional government organization, currently being established, is combining the forces of seven municipalities for the implementation of youth care. This organization is responsible for improving the availability, quality, and sustainable affordability of youth care in the region. The organization is in full development, offering room for personal initiative and input on processes and collaboration.
What you will do.
- Provide financial advice to municipalities and youth care organizations regarding the implementation and operation of regional youth care.
- Translate complex financial developments into clear insights and concrete advice.
- Participate in monitoring discussions with providers and interpret financial developments.
- Prepare financial analyses and scenarios for complex or high-risk provider files.
- Analyze production, care utilization, budget development, and financial risks within contracts, combining various data sources.
- Advise on the functioning and further development of funding models.
- Perform financial calculations and analyses for issues such as customized provisions and growth scenarios.
- Support the financial aspects of procurement, contracting, and changes in contractual and funding agreements.
Profile
- A strong discussion partner who is not afraid to engage in debate or think outside the box.
- Familiar with municipal procedures and internal decision-making.
- Positive, communicatively skilled team player with a customer and results-oriented attitude.
- Higher professional education (hbo) or university (wo) degree in a financial, business economics, or similar field.
- Experience with financial analyses, advisory, and risk management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly switch between analysis, advice, and implementation.
- Ability to connect different developments and translate them into integrated and future-oriented advice.
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting larger datasets and translating data into clear management information and advice.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar analysis tools is a plus.
