What you do

You work and simultaneously follow a training course to become a personal assistant.
You combine personal care, well-being, and household tasks.
You support residents with daily care and contribute to a warm, homely living environment.
Specific tasks include:
Assisting with personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, toilet assistance).
Observing eating and drinking habits.
Working with patient lifts.
Preparing meals and offering support with eating and drinking.
Signaling special circumstances and reporting them.
Dealing with people with dementia.
Collaborating with care colleagues, family, and volunteers.
You support residents in structuring their day, encouraging self-direction, freedom, and participation in activities.
