Psychologist Care Content Coordinator
A care organization provides tailored mental health care. Together with clients, family, loved ones, and network partners, meaningful care is realized. The organization focuses on inclusive care and strengthening resilience and self-management. With over 1200 employees, it offers care and support to people with psychological vulnerabilities, spread across its hospitals, nursing homes, and sheltered living initiatives. You will work within a supported living initiative, a collaborative project of various partners.
This initiative offers housing and intensive guidance to adult homeless individuals with complex mental health issues, often combined with substance abuse. From your psychological expertise, you will strengthen daily guidance, teamwork, and the quality of care content. You will help the team better understand complex client situations and support a methodical, recovery-oriented, and trauma-sensitive approach.
What you do
- You will take on a coordinating role within the interdisciplinary team and build trusting relationships with clients and their loved ones.
- You will act as a case manager for two clients to maintain a connection with the target group and the core of the assignment.
- You will support and strengthen the team and, together with the department coordinator and psychiatrist, be part of the team leadership.
- You will guide and facilitate the team in the implementation and safeguarding of care policy and coach employees in the further development of quality care.
- You will take a leading role in the care policy of the initiative and translate this into concrete working agreements.
- You will monitor current developments in mental health care, including contingency management and gender- and culturally sensitive care, and translate this into our operations.
- You will bring expertise in addiction care, personality disorders, and complex care needs, and promote trauma-sensitive work.
- You will help implement and safeguard methodological frameworks such as New Authority, non-violent resistance, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, SRH, and recovery-oriented care.
- You will support team members in dealing with transference and countertransference, and in maintaining professional proximity and distance.
- You will oversee a logical and healthy division of labor within the team and promote self-care among team members.
- You will co-manage the waiting list of the initiative and help ensure a smooth start of new care trajectories.
- You will be responsible for reporting and progress reports to a local authority.
- You will participate in the telephone on-call system, taking on 24-hour telephone on-call duty for 6 or 7 weeks per year (depending on your employment percentage).
Profile
- You have a master's degree in clinical psychology and relevant experience within mental health care.
- You are fascinated by addiction care and have knowledge of schema therapy or are willing to deepen your knowledge in this area.
- You work independently, take initiative, and actively contribute to the care-related operations and client guidance.
- You possess strong collaboration skills, take responsibility, and actively contribute to an open and constructive team dynamic.
- Your enthusiasm, openness, and flexibility contribute to a positive and constructive team dynamic.

- You are stress-resistant and can handle unexpected changes in your daily or weekly schedule.
- You are available on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (for essential consultation moments).
