Every day, taking small steps together that make a world of difference for the residents: that's what you will do at a residential facility. We are looking for a Support Worker who is enthusiastic about a meaningful job in healthcare. Do you enjoy working with people with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities? Do you like variety and a homely, warm working environment where no two days are the same?
What you will do.
- The residential facility houses 12 residents, each in their own apartment, with two cozy shared living rooms and a spacious garden where activities take place.
- The residents have a moderate to severe intellectual disability, often combined with challenges such as autism or epilepsy.
- Together with your colleagues, you provide a safe, structured, and low-stimulus environment.
- You provide guidance, care, and behavioral regulation, always tailored to the individual needs of the residents.
- Within the multidisciplinary team, there is ample room for your ideas and personal development.
- As a Support Worker, you support residents in their daily lives and help create a predictable, pleasant, and meaningful living environment.
- You work according to the organization's methodology, based on Triple C, among others, and together with your colleagues, you build towards the ordinary life of each resident.
Profile
- Flexible and proactive, you work within the complex care circle.
- In possession of a care-related diploma at mbo-3 level, e.g., SPW, BMZ, BGZ, or VIG.
- Someone who is resilient and can switch quickly.
- Strong in communication and collaboration-oriented.
- Curious and you think in possibilities.
