Residential Intensive Care Support Worker

The organization focuses on what is possible and is spread across more than 200 locations in the Groningen and Drenthe regions.
Collaboration between clients, their personal network, and professionals is central.
The location offers a living space for 37 adults and elderly individuals with intensive care needs and day care for 15 external clients.
Good care, proximity, and structure are important for this target group.
There are four different teams, each focused on a group of clients.
Day activities are provided for most clients, including gardening at an external location and making handmade items at another location.
Bi-weekly consultations with the behavioral scientist, team coordinator, and often the manager.
Regular activities are organized, such as disco nights, movement to music, sports events, and excursions.
The Triple-C (Client-Competence-Coach) methodology is applied, emphasizing meaningful connection.
Warm care is provided, creating a secure and safe living environment (e.g., dentist visits on-site).
The work involves awake night shifts, for which there is a separate team.

You collaborate with nurses, caregivers, personal support workers, a behavioral scientist, and paramedics.

Through your curiosity, creative approach, and sense of humor, you make every day meaningful.
As a flexible team member, you contribute to positive days for clients across different groups.

What they ask

Possess a relevant diploma at a minimum of MBO level 3.
Work experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of, or willingness to acquire knowledge of, the Triple-C methodology.
Affinity with the target group: adults and elderly individuals with severe (multiple) disabilities.
Willingness to work irregular hours (day, evening, and weekend shifts).
Be flexible and able to fill in during colleagues' illness or holidays.
Possess a driving license.
