Colorist Instructor

As a freelance instructor for an adult education institution, you are primarily responsible for compiling teaching materials for a course. You can draw on your own practical experience to put your stamp on the teaching materials. In addition, you will base your work on the institution's guidelines regarding the didactics to be followed and take into account the relevant target group. Other existing teaching materials may also be used for inspiration, provided proper source attribution.

What you will do.

• Compile teaching materials for the Colorist course.
• Correct students' homework assignments.
• Provide remote content support to students throughout their training via an online student platform.
• Develop and adapt didactic programs, training tools, and teaching support.
• Determine methods, resources, and training tools for the course.
• Follow up on trainees (pedagogical, logistical, administrative).
• Design and adjust training tools, tests, training programs, modules, plans.
• Provide training in general basic knowledge.
• Transfer knowledge to trainees.
• Develop an orientation, information, or training program.
• Correct and evaluate assessments (exercises, practical work, exams).
• Explain materials and equipment to trainees and transfer technical skills.

What they ask

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a self-employed professional.
• Necessary pedagogical skills.
• Ability to write flawless Dutch.
• Be customer-friendly, communicative, and helpful.
• Be able to answer student questions and homework within 48 hours.
