You will work within a flight planning team of an international unit. This team is responsible for the planning and preparation of flight missions, exercises, and deployments. You will join a relatively young and dynamic team with short communication lines, in an international working environment where English is the working language.
What you do
- Prepare planned missions.
- Create routes.
- Finalize fuel calculations.
- Prepare flight plans.
- Monitor weather forecasts.
- Collaborate with coordinators from other international units for the execution and coordination of missions.
- Support current operations if necessary.
- Responsible for route planning, preparation of the ATC flight plan, and archiving.
- Maintain close contact with flight coordinators to ensure efficient and good planning of all flights.
- Set required priorities during mission preparation.
What they ask
- Experience with flight operations is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Preferably familiar with working in an international environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Persistent and decisive.
Practical
- A mandatory security screening and reference check (upon request) are part of the selection procedure.
- You must take the oath or promise for civilian employees of a government organization.
- You must have Dutch nationality.
