As Deputy Aerodrome Commander, you are responsible for the supervision and coordination of all airport operations during your shift at a technology company. You ensure the safety and efficiency of air traffic control, operational procedures, and communication with pilots.
What you do
- Supervise operational activity at the airport.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate take-off and landing procedures for drones.
- Communicate with air traffic control and other relevant authorities.
What they ask
- Not have committed any infringements of aviation regulations during the last five years.
- Be in possession of a restricted radiotelephony operator's certificate for aircraft stations, issued according to the conditions imposed by the Directorate-General for Aviation, or be willing to obtain it in the short term.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Stress-resistant and able to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Preferences.
- Be or have been a holder of a private pilot's license issued by an EU Member State.
- Demonstrable experience in air traffic control.
- Knowledge of drone legislation and regulations.
