In the international tax services (ITS) team, you will collaborate with colleagues on tax issues for (inter)national (listed) clients. The focus is on advising on corporate income tax, dividend tax, and international tax law for Dutch listed companies and multinationals with headquarters abroad.
What you will do.
- Engage in (cross-border) corporate restructurings
- Analyze financing flows and interest deduction limitations
- Conduct dividend tax analyses
- Review the processing of advice in corporate income tax returns
- Monitor national and international tax developments (jurisprudence, literature, European tax law, OECD/G20, and Inclusive Framework BEPS) and discuss their impact with clients
- Regularly consult with clients and a government agency
- Provide specialized advice and opinions on Dutch corporate and dividend tax and EU law
- Collaborate as one team with VAT, transfer pricing, and M&A colleagues, as well as consulting colleagues on major transformation projects
- Play a central role in global restructurings and acquisitions and their implementation, in close cooperation with foreign offices
- Flawlessly translate theory into practice, taking into account business and policy considerations
- Incorporate clients' tax strategy and the societal context of tax planning into advice
Profile
- University background in Tax Law or Tax Economics
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English
- Curious about developments in your field and driven to make a difference
- Believes in acting with integrity and takes personal responsibility
- Can empathize well with colleagues and stakeholders, with an eye for everyone's added value
- Enjoys working in a team, incorporating different ideas and perspectives
- Innovative, entrepreneurial, and not afraid to challenge the status quo
