Temporary reinforcement is needed within a Debt Assistance team for early detection. You work based on signals of payment arrears from fixed-cost partners. You analyze and discuss financial situations, identify needs and problems, and set up appropriate trajectories within the applicable laws and regulations. You liaise with creditors, chain partners, and internal colleagues. Residents are approached in an open and accessible manner, often by phone or through a home visit.

What you do
- Address signals from fixed-cost partners
- Actively seek out residents via phone, letter, or home visit
- Map out the financial and psychosocial situation
- Prevent escalation, such as disconnections or evictions
- Guide residents with complex issues towards regular debt assistance
- Accurately register actions and progress in accordance with privacy legislation (GDPR)
Profile
- Experienced consultant who is immediately deployable and can independently handle reports
- Approaches residents in an open and accessible manner, often by phone or through a home visit
- Liaises with creditors, chain partners, and internal colleagues
What they ask
- Minimum completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in SJD/Social Work or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in debt assistance, the social domain, or broad social support
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Municipal Debt Assistance Act (Wgs) and the social map
- Experience with the RIS system
Preferences.
- Several years of demonstrable work experience as an early detection consultant
- Completed HBO degree in SJD/Social Work
- In possession of a driving license and car
