Project Manager social real estate and area development

You will be working in a department that manages dozens of complex projects, processes, and programs in the social and spatial domain.

  • The department is the home base in an open and challenging work environment.

What you do

  • Provide professional and creative guidance for the construction, development, and (land) exploitation of social real estate and area development in its immediate vicinity.
  • Be responsible for resources and results.
  • Manage the internal organization.
  • Conduct negotiations with market parties.
  • Bring together stakeholders with diverse interests.
  • Advise the administrative and executive client.
  • Direct the administrative decision-making process to achieve integrated planning and secure it administratively.
  • Function independently as a central point of contact and pivot in the project.
  • Lead project teams.
  • Design and implement the participation process.
  • Manage the area development process.
  • Maintain contacts with stakeholders.
  • Supervise tenders.
  • Advise on, among other things, (land) exploitation agreements and environmental permit applications.
  • Ensure supported project proposals and the associated administrative decision-making.
  • Realize the project proposals.

What they ask

  • Minimum of a completed university (WO) degree in Urban Planning, or comparable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable work experience as a project manager with inner-city area development in the past 15 years.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a project manager at a government organization in the past 10 years.

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable work experience as a project manager with housing corporations, project developers, social organizations, and government organizations for inner-city area developments.
  • Several years of demonstrable work experience as a project manager in projects for the development, construction, and (land) exploitation of social real estate on behalf of a government organization.
  • Several years of demonstrable work experience as a project manager in projects involving social real estate such as swimming pools, sports halls, and educational institutions.
