The Examinations department makes it possible to obtain a diploma outside of regular exams. Annually, thousands of candidates use this to obtain a secondary education (VO) or Dutch as a second language (NT2) diploma. The department is supported by various IT solutions. As part of the 'Modernization of Examinations' project, existing solutions are being renewed.
This includes applications for employees, for example for planning, but also for candidates registering for an exam or examiners who can state their availability for the upcoming season.
What you do
- You contribute to the renewal of the examination landscape
- Your home base is one of the four multidisciplinary DevOps teams
- You have regular contact with colleagues from other teams
- Where possible, you try to automate processes
- You keep applications up-to-date and quickly apply new developments
- You influence the product that is created, with the challenge of renovating while the business is open
Profile
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and Java
- Affinity with front-end development
- Experience with Angular
- Opinionated, enjoys contributing to all kinds of team and development processes, and acts proactively
- Knowledge of a public executive organization is a plus
- You dare to look beyond just development tasks; you also want to know more about security, testing, and continuous delivery
- You enjoy collaborating with others
- Scrum/Agile working is truly your thing
- You are a quick starter and eager to get to work
What they ask
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) level of thinking and working in programming
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
- Affinity with front-end development
- Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Javascript and/or Typescript
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Java
