What you will do.
- Ensure a good balance between effort and relaxation in your group, so that students can learn and feel safe and seen.
- Follow up on and contribute to the clear implementation of lessons by working with quality cards per subject area.
- Provide feedback on both the learning process and the end result, allowing students to develop ownership over their growth.
- Help children gain structure and provide guidance in their social development and interactions with others.
- Coordinate student care for your group: signal, analyze, coordinate, and undertake targeted actions.
- Actively participate in team meetings with colleagues and stakeholders, and translate the shared vision into powerful didactic methods and learning activities in your own classroom.
- Work with children with specific educational needs, often due to learning or behavioral problems.
- Provide primary education to children using various didactic methods and learning activities, aligned with the school's learning and educational goals and the specific needs of this type of education.
- Present learning material in small steps, clearly and structured.
- Create a safe learning environment with a clear pedagogical climate: clear behavioral rules and consistent adherence.
- Be predictable and able to handle differences, accept the child's individuality, and know how to respond to their behavior.
- Signal, register, and evaluate problems in students, and guide them based on group plans and the development perspective.
- Discuss students with colleagues, internal supervisor, and/or management.
- Discuss the child's development with parents/guardians to promote learning achievements.
- Act as a link between parents, students, and colleagues.
Profile
- Possess a pabo diploma.
- Knowledge and experience within special primary education or special education.
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and stand firm.
- Affinity with special primary education and students with learning difficulties.
- Strong empathy and social skills.
