Project Leader Social Facilities and Property Redevelopment

The Project, Program, and Process Management (PPP) department concretely tackles projects and programs to achieve ambitions. A project manager is sought for the development and realization of facilities in an urban district and the redevelopment of a property. The tasks related to the facilities in the district are an important part (approx. 75%) of your project portfolio. In addition, you will fulfill the role of process manager for the project involving the redevelopment of a monumental building.

Social real estate and facilities facilitate various policy and program objectives of municipal policy. The coming years present a significant challenge. There is also a task to provide sufficient facilities with the growth of the district. This task also offers opportunities to provide social facilities more integrally and to use them more flexibly and efficiently. For these projects, you are also responsible for further developing them, managing them with a project team, and adding facilities.

This includes finding and contracting a new tenant for the property and determining the necessary investment. This investment will be charged to the future tenant as much as possible to cover costs. With this input, an external market consultation will be initiated with the aim of ultimately selecting a party that will become the new tenant of the property.

Profile

You initiate and manage within the initiating, exploratory, and preparatory phases of the project. Together with a project team, you are responsible up to and including delivery. You identify where connections can be made between relevant spatial issues. You are skilled in initiating projects, exploring options, and preparing for realization, and you can connect programmatic and spatial issues.

What they ask

  • Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience as a project leader within the spatial domain
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in managing a team
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience with various development strategies in the field of (social) facilities

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level in social geography, urban planning, or spatial planning
  • Demonstrable work experience with collaboration between government, social organizations, and market parties
  • Demonstrable work experience in the field of housing and/or culture
  • Demonstrable work experience with process management at a government institution
  • Demonstrable work experience with the social domain and/or social real estate at a government institution
