Test Automation Specialist

Performing manual tests for an organization's application (Web & Mobile) during and after development by the development teams.

• Building and developing automated tests for the application's functionalities.
• Setting up APM tests.
• Working in an Agile approach.

What you will do.

• You are responsible for performing manual tests during and after the development of applications and functionalities by the development team you are part of.
• For this, you test various scenarios and actively search for bugs and/or improvement opportunities in the applications.
• You provide developers with detailed information about the bugs found for reproduction.
• You are responsible for creating automated end-to-end tests for your team's functionalities (developed in OutSystems).
• You are responsible for creating and executing performance tests and application monitoring tests that must be performed/set up before each release to production.
• From the outset of each new project, you contribute to the setup and elaboration of tests, test scenarios, automated tests, and APM.
• The Scrum methodology is used for developing the solution. In this context, you must collaborate closely with the business, Solution Architect, and developers to ensure functionalities are delivered correctly.

Tasks and deliverables.

• You communicate efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, Solution Architect) so they perfectly understand task priorities.
• You are able to make technical improvement proposals and defend them to the Solution Architect.
• You support developers with functional tests.
• You write automated tests.
• You deliver APM tests per application, up to API-level.
• You perform load and performance tests.
• You analyze integrations with other parties and systems.
• You are able to develop the technical design based on a functional analysis.
• You collaborate with infrastructure staff to install applications and monitor their operation.
• You thoroughly document your test scenarios, without getting bogged down in details.
