As a Technical Project Leader, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team responsible for the preparation and execution of complex technical change trajectories within the information provision of a large municipal organization. You will integrally manage a technical validation and preparation project, ensuring the planning, coordination, and alignment of technical activities. You will monitor the coherence between different disciplines to enable timely and correct decision-making.
The Information Provision department supports directorates within a cluster with reliable and future-proof information provision. The department develops, manages, and renews applications and IT facilities that support citizens, businesses, and employees in the execution of municipal services. A specialized team is responsible for the management, continuous development, and technical continuity of business-critical applications that support primary processes.
The organization faces an extensive technical preparation and validation trajectory aimed at the continuity and future-proofing of the application landscape.
What you do
- Establish, manage, and monitor the integral project planning
- Coordinate and direct technical activities within the project
- Organize and facilitate technical workshops, work sessions, and alignment moments
- Coordinate with architects, developers, management teams, suppliers, infrastructure specialists, and chain managers
- Monitor the coherence between different workflows and technical disciplines
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, dependencies
- Prepare decision-making and draft administrative decision-making documentation
- Report on progress, planning, quality, capacity, and risks to the client and steering committee
- Monitor the quality of project products and compliance with agreements made
What they ask
- Knowledge of and experience with a specific application landscape for municipal services, including components such as Hermes, OpenText Content Server (Livelink), OpenText Directory Services (OTDS), OpenText Process Server (OTPS), HMS Oracle, HPS Oracle, Edge, Reporting SQL, and their interconnections and integrations
- Minimum of 8 years demonstrable work experience as a technical project leader in the past 10 years
- Minimum of 8 years work experience with complex ICT projects within a large municipal organization in the past 10 years
- Minimum of 8 years work experience with software development and infrastructure in the past 10 years
- Minimum of university (WO) work and thinking level
- In possession of a recognized university (WO) diploma
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience with working according to the Agile methodology
- Demonstrable work experience within the government sector
- Demonstrable experience with lifecycle management
- Demonstrable experience with modernization projects within complex organizations
- In possession of a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or an equivalent certification
