As a housing consultant, you are the face of the neighborhood and the connecting link between residents, authorities, and external partners. You tackle complex housing issues with courage, warmth, and decisiveness, contributing to sustainable solutions for tenants and their living environment.
What you will do.
- Identify, investigate, and handle reports of housing fraud.
- Actively address nuisance situations and strive for a pleasant living environment.
- Maintain active contact with residents, resident committees, and resident groups.
- Act as the link between externally involved parties such as municipalities, police, care institutions, and other aid organizations.
- Look beyond the initial report and investigate what is needed to sustainably improve the situation.
- Deal with themes such as liveability, safety, housing fraud, and nuisance.
- Know when to listen, when to intervene, and how to tactfully reconcile different interests.
Profile
- Socially strong and able to stand your ground.
- Ability to maintain an overview in complex situations.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy and the ability to switch between different levels.
- A proactive and independent work attitude.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to travel within the region.
- Courage and decisiveness in discussions where interests may conflict.
What they ask
- A relevant HBO (higher professional education) degree OR demonstrable knowledge and experience within the housing corporation sector.
- Experience with liveability issues, nuisance situations, or social management is a strong plus.
