What you do
- You assist residents with quality care, a listening ear, and expert support.
- You work in a close-knit team where respect, safety, and well-being are central.
- You ensure a safe and calm living environment during the night.
- You recognize subtle changes in the psychological or physical well-being of the resident and take appropriate actions according to the applicable safety and care protocols.
- You support residents in a respectful, recovery-oriented manner, with an eye for autonomy.
- You report accurately and clearly (both in writing and orally), ensuring 24-hour care continuity.
- You work closely with a nursing colleague, exchange relevant information correctly, and apply appropriate communication and listening techniques.
Profile
- Possess a care assistant visa; relevant internship or work experience is a plus.
- Approach residents in an accessible and respectful manner, translating this into positive interactions.
- Want to contribute daily to quality, person-centered care and be eager to learn.
- Be stress-resistant and possess strong organizational skills.
- Have a great sense of responsibility and enjoy working at night.
- Enjoy working independently.
- Have a warm heart for the elderly and their family and/or context, attaching great importance to respect, reliability, and professionalism.
