Within the technical department located across various sites of a specialized healthcare institution, the versatile worker participates in general maintenance and repairs to prevent and remedy failures, and to ensure the good condition of the facilities.
What you do
- Perform maintenance, repair, and general upkeep tasks on hospital buildings and infrastructure;
- Carry out various minor maintenance tasks (carpentry, painting, locksmithing, basic plumbing, simple electricity, handling, etc.);
- Participate in the arrangement, improvement, and proper functioning of the different spaces and equipment on hospital sites;
- Ensure follow-up of technical interventions and report anomalies or repair needs;
- Collaborate with different trades within the technical department to guarantee the continuity and quality of services;
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and specific constraints of the hospital environment;
- Participate in the technical on-call service for buildings as per service needs.
Profile
- Possess a CESI (Certificate of Lower Secondary Education) and proven experience in the field;
- Experience within a hospital or an institution active in the healthcare sector is an asset;
- Knowledge of electricity, sanitary installations, and heating is a plus;
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously depending on requests;
- Very good communication skills;
- Service-oriented towards users;
- A B driving license is required to travel to the different sites.
