As a Lead Engineer, you are offered a challenging position within an international, dynamic, and ever-changing organization. With your vast in-depth technical knowledge, experience in heavy lift projects and strong leadership skills, you will lead the technical engineering scope of projects. You are part of a multi-disciplinary engineering department that provides local, regional, and global engineering support.
What you do
- Leading the technical engineering scope of projects;
- Check and approve engineering documents, verify if the right methods and/or equipment have been used;
- Liaising with internal and external clients to ensure the requirements are met;
- Coordinating planning, organization and implementation;
- Finding smart ways to overcome project challenges;
- Ensuring all engineering scopes are aligned, understand the relation between these scopes and act on it.
What they ask
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Automotive Engineering;
- 8 years of broad and deep engineering experience in the heavy lift industry including international job site experience for multiple years;
- Advanced understanding of heavy lift equipment (SPMT’s, jacking, skidding and gantry systems) and operations;
- Project Management skills and/or experience with an open and communicative attitude;
- Good written and verbal English communication skills;
- Willingness to travel as per project’s requirement;
- Computer skills must include AutoCAD, FEM Software and Microsoft Office.
