Crucial link between intensive testing on the local test track and engineering departments abroad.

Delve deep into the technical root cause of deviations or defects in prototype vehicles during durability tests.
Ensure that necessary adjustments are actually implemented.
Establish and maintain DV (design verification) plans for assigned vehicle lines.

What you will do.

Lead international technical discussions.
Address identified durability and quality issues with involved R&D engineers.
Lead online meetings in a structured manner.
Defend findings with strong, objective arguments in a broad technical field.
Be involved in various vehicle domains, ranging from chassis and body to powertrain and electronic systems.
Focus approximately 80% of your time on desk work: thorough data analysis, reporting, action follow-up, and targeted online meetings.
Spend the remaining 20% of your time in the workshop or on the test track to inspect incidents firsthand, assess parts, and make the problem tangible.

Profile

Master's degree in electromechanics or automotive.
Broad interest in or knowledge of automotive technology, both mechanical and electrical.
Basic knowledge of materials science is a plus.
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal & written.
Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel).
Structured and independent work style.
Naturally analytical and critical: does not take assumptions at face value and always seeks factual evidence.
Stands firm during technical discussions and always maintains a professional, objective attitude.
In possession of a valid B driving license.
