You will work for a government organization, specifically within a specialized department for material and IT. This department supports colleagues nationally and internationally with the best equipment, supplies, and ICT to effectively carry out their tasks. As a Lead Auditor within the Supplier Oversight department, you monitor quality and risks at IT suppliers. You conduct audits, advise on quality assurance, and collaborate with various disciplines on reliable and secure IT solutions.
What you will do.
- Monitor the quality and risk management at IT suppliers.
- Work on complex national and international projects and ensure that suppliers comply with agreed requirements.
- Advise project leaders, buyers, contract managers, and IT specialists during the pre-contractual phase.
- Evaluate tender and contract documents, identify supplier risks, and advise on appropriate control measures and supplier selection.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute audits and oversight activities during contract execution.
- Assess control measures and analyze results.
- Discuss deviations with suppliers and monitor the implementation of improvement measures.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and bring together expertise in IT, quality assurance, information security, and risk management.
- Contribute to supplier management and the further development of quality assurance.
- Follow developments in IT, information security, and risk management and translate these into concrete advice and improvements.
What they ask
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in a technical or technical business administration direction.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, and process management.
- Familiarity with relevant national and international quality and oversight frameworks.
- Experience with advising and quality assurance.
- Experience with professionally conducting or evaluating audits.
- Experience with complex, preferably international projects.
- Experience with results-oriented management or coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with supplier oversight is a plus.
- Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English, both verbally and in writing.
- An additional qualification in quality or management (e.g., Lead Auditor) is a plus.
