Software Architect

You will define and implement architectural frameworks within the teams.

  • You will hands-on build functionalities and modules to help customers progress.
  • You are an experienced software architect with DevOps knowledge.
  • The company develops workforce management software for the hospitality and leisure sector.
  • As a software architect, you will be part of the Research & Development team, working with three development teams on software improvement and adding new functionalities.
  • You will collaborate with an Acceptance Tester, Product Owner, and Designer.
  • Experience in the hospitality or leisure sector is a plus.

What you do

  • Improve: Elevate the development teams as an overarching architect to ensure the product remains future-proof and customers can work with it even better.
  • Develop: Hands-on work on new functionalities and modules.
  • Help: Do not hesitate to assist developers from other teams with complex backend and/or frontend issues.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with your team.
  • Problem Analysis: Investigate issues and provide direct solutions. If you can't solve it, you will consult colleagues from other teams.
  • Innovation: Your feedback is invaluable. You will share your ideas in department meetings to continuously improve the software.

What they ask

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in architecture.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to make critical architectural decisions.
  • Stand firm, voice your opinion, and engage in discussions with colleagues.
  • Maintain an overview of your work by prioritizing well and asking for help in time.
  • Excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written, and be a pleasant conversational partner.
  • Strive for continuous learning and code improvement.
  • Look beyond just coding, paying attention to documentation, testing, and presentations.
  • Timely alert the team to tackle complex issues together.
  • Dare to critically examine the department and its processes, and ask questions about them in department meetings.
  • Not afraid to further sharpen your skills at home.
  • Solid knowledge of PHP (Laravel).
  • Experienced knowledge of Javascript (Vue.js).
  • Experience with Google Cloud / Kubernetes / Docker is a strong plus.

Practical

  • Salary: € 5,000 – € 7,000 gross per month.

  • Contract: An initial contract of 8 months.
