Automation Engineer

Collaboration with a leading manufacturing company for their capital projects program. You understand the complete delivery of machines, from scope and supplier management to FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup. You combine knowledge of automation, electricity, and project engineering and are hands-on when the project requires it.

What you will do.

• You realize automation and machine projects within capital investment programs
• You manage machine builders and suppliers during design, construction
• You lead and support FAT, SAT, commissioning
• You assess the electrical scope and electrical diagrams and verify if the supplier's design meets project and site requirements
• You ensure that machine safety requirements are understood and complied with
• You work closely with the mechanical, process, electrical, and production teams
• You support on-site troubleshooting during installation and startup

Your profile.

• You have a background as a senior automation engineer in a production environment
• You have strong experience with Rockwell and/or Siemens (both are a plus, but not a requirement)
• You have a background in project engineering for capital projects
• You have demonstrable experience managing machine builders and external suppliers
• You have practical experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning
• You have strong electrical knowledge: you can read electrical diagrams and assess an electrical scope (essential requirement)
• You have a good understanding of machine safety
• You work smoothly in multidisciplinary project teams
• You approach troubleshooting practically and hands-on
