In a specific region, a healthcare organization is looking for an Ambulatory Counselor with SKJ registration to support people in vulnerable positions. You help participants look forward step by step and work towards sustainable change.
What you do
- Guiding families in their home situation.
- Setting concrete goals with parents, focused on coaching parenting skills and creating a pleasant and safe living environment.
- Providing support for practical issues related to housing, finances, upbringing, and social participation.
- Motivating, stimulating, and where necessary, setting boundaries or confronting.
- Identifying risks and opportunities within the family system or network.
- Maintaining contacts with other involved organizations, such as youth protection, mental health institutions, general practitioners, schools, or childcare.
- Collaborating with municipalities, neighborhood teams, youth protection, and other chain partners.
- Drawing up, implementing, and evaluating guidance plans.
You will work together with a committed and expert team. The team offers ambulatory guidance to young people, adults, families, and the elderly, including family guidance, youth and child coaching, and specialized youth care. Work is often done in duos, and investments are made in professional development through intervision and team meetings.
What they ask
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work, Pedagogy, or similar.
- A valid SKJ registration.
- Experience or affinity with ambulatory guidance, family guidance, or youth care.
- Perseverance, flexibility, and creativity.
- A driving license and personal transport.
- A Christian identity that is meaningful in daily life and work.
- A positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
