An organization is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Finance and IT transformation. You are energized by complex projects, connecting senior stakeholders, and successfully realizing ambitious transformations. You will lead a varied portfolio of strategic projects, focusing on Finance transformation, process optimization, ERP implementations, regulatory projects, reporting, and digitalization.
You will act as the link between Finance, Business, and IT, working closely with senior management, business stakeholders, solution architects, delivery teams, and external partners. You will take projects from initiation to implementation, go-live, and business adoption.
What you will do.
- Take ownership of multiple projects within the Finance portfolio and ensure delivery within scope, budget, timing, and expected quality standards
- Play an important role in testing, business readiness, cutover, deployment, and go-live governance for larger transformation projects
- Lead multiple Finance projects from initiation to successful delivery
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources, RAID logs, and governance documentation
- Monitor PMO standards, project methodologies, and stage-gate processes
- Report to sponsors, steering committees, and senior management
- Monitor scope, timing, budget, dependencies
- Build strong relationships with Finance leaders and business stakeholders
- Facilitate decision-making and create alignment between different departments
- Act as an escalation point for risks, issues
- Coordinate business teams, IT teams, system integrators, and external vendors
- Manage different priorities within a complex international environment
- Lead projects focused on the optimization and transformation of Finance processes, including: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Treasury & Cash Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting & Compliance, Master Data & Process Governance, ERP, and digital transformation
- Lead test management and business readiness activities
- Develop and manage cutover and deployment plans
- Coordinate training, communication, and operational readiness
- Drive go/no-go decisions and readiness reviews
- Manage deployment risks, fallback strategies
- Ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual
- Gather lessons learned and share best practices within the Finance portfolio
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and governance
- Contribute to the further development of project management and portfolio processes
Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management within complex business and IT environments
- Demonstrable experience with Finance projects and transformation programs
- Strong knowledge of Finance processes and business operations
- Experience with SAP ERP, preferably within SAP S/4HANA programs
- Experience with international and cross-functional project teams
- Experience with vendor, supplier, and system integrator management
- Proven track record in simultaneously managing multiple projects
- Experience with cutover, deployment, and go-live activities
- Experience within large-scale transformation programs
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
