Technical Procedure Writer
A project organization is looking for a Technical Procedure Writer for the operations team. The role involves drafting and revising technical procedures and instructions towards Ready for Operations (RfO), as well as developing didactic documentation such as process descriptions and e-learnings. The writer translates complex technical information into clear and practically applicable documentation.
The organization is working on a project to transport and store industrial CO2 in empty gas fields under the North Sea.
What you will do.
- Contribute to the Knowledge Management Plan
- Draft and revise procedures and instructions for HV and LV installations
- Process engineering input and finalize technical procedures
- Revise and update the operating manual
- Ensure the quality and consistency of technical documentation
- Develop didactic documentation such as process descriptions and e-learnings
- Examine and assess technicians
- Advise and facilitate the organization in implementing and executing the Knowledge Management Plan
Profile
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations
- Translate complex technical information into clear and practically applicable documentation
What they ask
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a technical and/or didactic writer
- Minimum 10 years of experience with technical corporate training, education, and knowledge management
- Demonstrable experience as a technical trainer/instructor and with examining and assessing technical employees
- Extensive experience in developing technical procedures, user manuals, and training material
Preferences.
- A completed technical education at university level, preferably process technology, chemical engineering
- Minimum 20 years of experience within the process and/or manufacturing industry and minimum 10 years within the energy sector
