You work in small, self-managing neighborhood teams responsible for the care and guidance of clients.
- The focus is on promoting the self-reliance of clients.
- You will be guided by qualified, experienced, and motivated learning coaches and supervisors in a pleasant learning environment.
What you do
- You support clients with personal care in areas where they cannot do it themselves.
- You contribute to the development and implementation of care plans.
- You perform nursing technical actions, such as giving injections or caring for catheters.
- You provide personal care and attention to clients.
What they ask
- Minimum MBO level 2 diploma.
- Possess a driving license and have access to a car/scooter. Willingness to obtain/acquire these is also sufficient.
- Passion and energy for the profession of Caregiver IG. Care experience is not required.
Practical
- This is a BBL (work-study) training program to become a Caregiver IG.
- The training lasts 2 years.
- You start with a basic period of 20 weeks, during which you attend school 1 day a week and accompany a qualified colleague in the neighborhood.
- After the basic period, you will work independently in the neighborhood and combine this with 1 day of lessons per week at school.
- The full training (books, tuition fees, travel expenses) is paid for.
- The intention is to offer you a job after completing the training.
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is mandatory.
