Labor Market Network Manager

As a network manager, you are the network leader of a regional collaboration. You are responsible for stimulating, coordinating, and monitoring regional tasks from the Multi-Year Agenda. You translate administrative ambitions into concrete results and ensure that partners contribute to the implementation. You manage the collaboration between various public and private partners. In doing so, you connect content, governance, implementation, finance, and management, ensuring coherence, progress, and results.

You are responsible for the functioning of the network and the progress of joint regional tasks, without taking over the responsibilities of individual partners. For this, you combine substantive expertise, administrative sensitivity, and strong network leadership.

What you will do.

  • Develop, update, and realize the Multi-Year Agenda and translate regional tasks into concrete actions, agreements, and results.
  • Drive, monitor, and evaluate implementation, and safeguard progress, coherence, quality, and financial accountability.
  • Mobilize partners, identify necessary administrative choices, capacity, or resources, and advise on these.
  • Organize and strengthen collaboration between public organizations, educational institutions, employers, employee organizations, and social partners.
  • Connect interests and responsibilities, create support and ownership, and promote shared responsibility.
  • Act as an independent point of contact regarding collaboration, governance, and role clarity, and address partners on agreed arrangements.
  • Advise the Regional Council on strategic, administrative, and organizational issues.
  • Identify developments within the labor market, education, economy, and social domain, and translate these into regional opportunities and tasks.
  • Prepare decision-making, monitor the implementation of agreements, and represent the regional collaboration at regional, supra-regional, and national levels.
  • Functionally lead the support team and ensure the right preconditions, coherence, and capacity to achieve regional ambitions.

Profile

  • Strong networker with administrative and organizational sensitivity.
  • Experienced network leader capable of organizing complex collaborations and achieving results, even without formal hierarchical authority.
  • Ability to connect people, organizations, and interests, and to motivate partners to achieve common goals.
  • Administratively sensitive and able to switch effortlessly between administration, policy, and implementation.
  • Understanding of the dynamics of public and private organizations and connecting different perspectives for sustainable collaboration.
  • Persuasive communication, strategic advice, and building support for joint decisions.
  • Directing progress and results, holding partners accountable for agreements, and keeping the shared objective central.
  • Independent in judgment, steadfast, and dares to reflect, confront, and escalate when necessary.
  • Strategic insight and organizational sensitivity to identify developments, translate them into opportunities, and maintain focus on objectives.
