As an Electrical Technical Drafter, you are responsible for drawing up, adapting, and updating electrical diagrams and plans for industrial environments. You combine drawing work with on-site technical checks to ensure that the documentation matches the actual situation. This is a technical and practical role where you primarily work with EPLAN and, depending on the project, also with AutoCAD. You work closely with technicians, engineers, and project coordinators.
What you will do.
- You create and modify electrical and E&I diagrams in EPLAN
- You process existing and new information into correct as-built and as-is diagrams
- You check electrical cabinets and installations on site and compare them with the available diagrams
- You update technical plans and files according to applicable standards
- You also work with AutoCAD, depending on the project, for adapting electrical plans
- You coordinate technical changes with technicians, engineers, and project coordinators
Profile
- You have a technical education in Electricity, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics
- You have experience as a technical drafter, EPLAN drafter, or electrical designer
- Thorough knowledge of EPLAN is important. Experience with EPLAN version 8 is a strong asset
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
- You work accurately and structured, with an eye for detail
- You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with various technical disciplines
- You speak fluent Dutch. Knowledge of English is a plus
