Communications Advisor
A Communications Advisor is sought for a government organization. You are broadly deployable on various topics and a strong discussion partner for management, leadership, and other internal clients. You look ahead, build connections, and develop effective communication strategies together with clients. You identify what is happening in society and refine the strategy when necessary.
You advise and are a sparring partner for the responsible crisis advisor and act as a second contact person during crises and incidents. You coach and inspire colleagues from different departments to make their communication increasingly clear and effective.
The team focuses on strategy, advice, coaching, offline and online communication, design, and implementation. The focus is on personal and clear communication.
What you will do.
- You are broadly deployable and take on various communication tasks.
- You are a strong content-wise sparring partner for the organization and leadership.
- You act as a point of contact for administrators and departments for professional communication and participation.
- You maintain close contacts with the press regarding spokesperson duties and agenda-setting relevant communication themes.
- You advise on communication in various areas of focus, from environmental law and safety to development perspectives and spatial projects.
- You guide communication processes, coordinate deployment, and monitor the planning and production of communication tools.
- You continuously seek the added value of collaboration and strengthen involved stakeholders.

What they ask
- You have a completed HBO or WO education in Communication, Journalism, Communication Sciences, or a comparable field.
- You have demonstrable experience in drafting and implementing communication plans.
- You have experience advising management, executive board, and/or administrators.
- You have at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a communications advisor.
Wishes.
- You have experience with crisis and spokesperson communication.
- You have knowledge of and experience with social media, web editing, and online communication.
- You have experience with project-based work.
- You are aware of the latest news and communication trends.
- You are proactive and can work independently.
