HR Advisor Sustainable Employability

A government organization is undergoing significant development and is looking for an HR Advisor Sustainable Employability. The HR team supports the organization with issues related to leadership, organizational development, sustainable employability, vitality, and good employment practices. In this role, you will contribute to a healthy, safe, vital, and resilient organization by supporting, coordinating, and advising on absenteeism, vitality, and occupational health and safety (Arbo).

You will translate signals and data into targeted actions and help the organization grow in the field of amplitie.

What you will do. As an HR Advisor Sustainable Employability, you will primarily focus on absenteeism management and prevention, vitality, and occupational health and safety coordination. A significant part of your work involves further developing and strengthening policy and its implementation in this area. You will collaborate with HR colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders to bring policy to life in practice.

  • You will fulfill an organization-wide coordinating and advisory role in sustainable employability and be an important discussion partner for colleagues, managers, the works council, and other internal stakeholders.
  • You will advise managers and HR colleagues on complex cases, organization-wide issues, and developments in your field.
  • You will analyze absenteeism, employability, and health data, identify trends and risks, and translate these into clear advice, policy, management information, and concrete interventions.
  • You will be part of the Occupational Health and Safety team, playing a coordinating role and ensuring coherence between Arbo, prevention, and sustainable employability.
  • You will have a steering role in social security. You will coordinate processes related to self-insurance for the Sickness Benefits Act (Ziektewet) and WGA.
  • You will maintain collaboration with external partners, such as the occupational health service, insurers, and intervention providers.
  • You will be involved from an HR perspective in tenders and contract management to ensure that agreements, services, and available prevention budgets optimally contribute to sustainable employability objectives.
  • You will bring vitality to life within the organization, inspire colleagues, and, together with fitness ambassadors, prevention officers, the works council, and external partners, build an attractive vitality offering.

What they ask

  • Minimum HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) work and thinking level with a degree in Human Resource Management, specializing in Occupational Health & Absenteeism or similar.
  • A degree in Absenteeism Case Management, Absenteeism Management, or a comparable specialization in absenteeism guidance is a plus.
  • Recent experience as an HR professional in a larger or more complex organization.
  • Broad knowledge of sustainable employability with in-depth expertise in absenteeism, vitality, and occupational health and safety.
  • Ability to translate facts, figures, and organizational signals into clear analyses, concrete advice, and effective policy.
  • A strong sparring partner for managers, HR advisors, and prevention officers.
  • Easy collaboration with various disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Clear communication and smooth transition between tactical and operational levels.
  • Administrative and political sensitivity.
